Lori Little Announces Retirement From NAHT

Jan 13, 2025

Lori Little, the long-serving president and CEO of the National Affordable Housing Trust (NAHT), has announced her retirement after 22 years with the organization. Brian Dowling, who has been serving as interim chief revenue officer, will step in as interim CEO, while Little will assist with the transition until February.

Prior to her role as president and CEO, Little was the director of capital markets and investor relations at NAHT. Under her leadership, the organization expanded partnerships, notably with the Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) and the Low-Income Investment Fund, leading to over $1.5 billion in investments and the creation of more than 18,000 affordable homes.

Andrea Ponsor, president and CEO of SAHF, praised Little’s impact on many lives and expressed hope that Dowling will continue the efforts to preserve affordable housing. Additionally, NAHT announced Michelle Norris of N-Sights Consulting will serve as the organization’s strategic adviser. NAHT operates as a nonprofit low-income housing tax credit syndicator and development advisory firm.
