TDHCA recognizes the invaluable benefit The Affordable Housing Program (AHP) by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) offers our affordable housing developers. As such, FHLB Dallas has proudly announced a significant enhancement in its funding allocation for the year 2024, enabling projects to access up to $2 million in financial aid.
This financing can be combined with federal funding such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, or state and local housing programs. Funds can help offset gap financing or shore up additional financial support. AHP funds must be used to benefit households with incomes at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
