TAAHP’s Local and Municipal Affairs (LAMA) group works to engage and advocate on affordable housing policies at the local level. Currently, The City of Dallas is reviewing proposed changes to the bylaws of the Public Facility Corporation (PFC) and Housing Finance Corporation (HFC), raising significant concerns among TAAHP members. On January 24, TAAHP sent a letter to the Dallas City Council requesting a delay in the vote to allow for further industry feedback. Fortunately, in response to TAAHP and other stakeholders’ requests, the housing department has agreed to postpone the implementation of these changes until further input is received from the industry. Click here to read letter.
